Cembrane has received another order through its subsidiary, Cembrane Iran, to provide drinking water for 200.000 people in Charmahal Bakhtiari Province in Iran, using its innovative SiC membrane modules. The total plant capacity is 26.000 m3/day, making it the world’s largest Silicon Carbide installation to date. We are tripling production capacity!

We are in the process of tripling our production capacity to meet the increasing demands of our SiC flat sheet membranes. This is done at our manufacturing facility in Denmark, where we have recently taken over a new building connected to our existing main building. In that we will install our new high temperature furnace with fast cooling, as shown in picture below!

Cembrane supplies containerized plant to earthquake struck region in Iran

The border region between Iran and Iraq experienced a 7,3-maginitude earthquake this November. The earthquake struck in a populated region where more than 1,8 million people live.
