Cembrane's SiCBlox membranes achieve NSF 419 drinking water certification.

Cembrane, is proud to announce that its SiCBlox membrane modules have achieved NSF/ANSI 419 certification. This prestigious certification builds upon Cembrane's existing NSF/ANSI 61 HOT certification, solidifying SiCBlox as a technology living up to the highest standards for safe drinking water.

NSF/ANSI 419 is a critical industry standard that establishes rigorous performance requirements for public drinking water treatment equipment, specifically focusing on the removal of Cryptosporidium. This certification signifies that SiCBlox membranes have undergone independent testing and verification, demonstrating their effectiveness in safeguarding public health by removing this and other harmful contaminants from surface water intended for drinking purposes.

Testing demonstrated a mean log reduction value (LRV) of 4.52 for Cryptosporidium surrogate, with a minimum LRV of 4.22 up to a flux rate of 425 LMH.

This achievement underscores Cembrane's commitment to providing safe and reliable drinking water solutions. We are confident that SiCBlox membranes, with their NSF/ANSI 419 certification, will be a valuable asset for water treatment facilities seeking high-performance and reliable solutions for surface water treatment.
