General Flow sheet

The filtration principle is submerged outside in, where suction pressure draws clean water through the membrane. Suspended solids and bacteria are rejected on the membrane surface, forming a cake layer, while clean water passes through the membrane body and is collected at both end caps.

This makes the process ideal for a wide range of applications, since it allows the user to combine several process steps into one:
