To comply with the increasing regulation on drinking water treatment, Cembrane recently tasked a third party research laboratory to determine the reduction of E-coli bacteria.

The test mixed E-coli bacillus in water treated with double pass UF and activated carbon to ensure it was free of suspended solids and to avoid interference of a cake layer.

The test followed similar rigorous methodology as done with NSF 419. The only difference is the use of smaller E-coli bacillus carried out in this test in question.
